Description
2M Bronze features a Nude Fine Line diamond that is particularly suitable for demanding applications. The slim profile of the Fine Line stylus traces even the highest frequency information, making it a must-have item for demanding listeners. In addition, its larger track provides less distortion and record wear.
The cartridge body is made of environmentally friendly Hopelex material, which provides high rigidity while eliminating unwanted resonances.
2M Bronze uses a special improved motor, equipped with split pins with silver-plated copper wire.
We have optimised the design for easy insertion. And improved weight and size to fit most popular turntables on the market today. The 2M series provides excellent compatibility when used in a range of playback systems and with a wide range of turntable preamplifiers.

2M Series styles interchangeability:
The 2M Series' engines, coils and magnets configurations are not identical: Red and Blue are identical, so are the Bronze and Black and so are the true mono variants 2M Mono and 2M 78. Likewise, 2M series styli are interchangeable within the below combinations:

Compatible with Rega TT / TA brand:
The height of REGA brand cartridges from the tip of the needle to the top surface of the cartridge mount is lower than standard. Therefore, spacers would be needed to ensure the correct alignment of the Ortofon cartridge.
Adjusting the height of the Rega tonearm is easy with the Acoustic Signature pad set. It allows height adjustment from 0.5mm to 3.5mm in precise 0.5mm increments - without removing the tonearm. Simply loosen the screws, insert the AS spacer, then lock the screws back in place and you have a ready to play tonearm.
The 3.2 - 4 mm spacers should be sufficient for a 2M cartridge.
